Puerto Vallarta

Our trip to Puerto Vallarta went well. Mom and dad are feeling better every day. They were even able to enjoy the food at our all-inclusive resort. Our resort was pretty nice - not the fanciest place I've ever seen, but it had good food, some nice pools, swim-up bars, and views of the marina and the beach. I'll post pictures in a few days.

We took a free tour of the city, which was really nice. We did some shopping and sight-seeing and ate at a seafood restaurant that overlooked the ocean - beautiful! And we got to sample some "real" tequila. It was actually pretty good - nice and smooth.

Our flights on the way back to Monterrey were delayed. Not fun. We left the resort at 2:30 pm and didn't get back to my house until 2 am. Very long day! Also, the airline lost all our luggage. Of course! So now everyone is stuck wearing shorts and it's actually quite chilly here today. Plus, no one has their deodorant. Mmmm.... Although, my sister has the kind that's "so effective you can skip a day." So I guess she's all set. Hopefully the bags will be delivered soon.

Once Michael gets home from work, we will head to the market in Saltillo to do a little more shopping.
